Notes regarding the Craden DP4, DP6 & DP7 Printers
In 1983, Craden delivered its first DP4 passbook printer and changed the banking industry's printer landscape forever. The DP6 and DP7 were introduced in 1990 and 1993 respectively and were produced for more than 10 years.
In the early 2000's, the electronics industry had undergone incredible changes and as such, much of the technology had grown leaving early 1990's components by the wayside. In the 2010's much of our ability to purchase components like sensors, power transistors, et al, have either disappeared or become very dear.
We only have the ability to provide ribbons for DP6 and DP7 printers. Spare parts, including ribbon shields, for the DP4, DP6 and DP7 printers are no longer available. Craden will provide any assistance possible...please view our product section to find a drop-in replacement for your current printer.
